Synopsis;
Can you hear body's voice and feel its surviving power?
Toshiya Miyata, who was a teacher at the school for special needs children suffered a brainstem hemorrhage. He was supposed to be in coma for the rest of his life, but his friend and colleague, Katsuko Yamatoto believed he should have consciousness and tried to communicate with him. Now he is able to talk with a communication device and to take a walk in wheelchair. There are ways to recover from a state of locked-in syndrome but we have not recognized many possibilities yet. Turning despair into hope, this documentary is a symphony of hope.
